When my eyes began to betray me, my intuition, my mind and my heart became my most important tools for seeing and to continue my photographic work.
I no longer have complete sway over what I see. Fate now plays an essential role in the development of my photography.
I associate this newly found vision to spontaneity, to the instinctive impulse to catch fading images. I want to make visible, to capture that fleeting symbolic moment of what is and what is no longer.
My relationship with photography remains the same as it has been but it is leading me along unknown roads, towards the intangible which I discover step by step. Art and beauty are like a dream, imprecise, subtle and even sophisticated – like an imperfect mimesis of reality.
